Your members now have a reason to come back.
This release turns the member app from a timetable into a habit. Streaks, leaderboards, challenges and badges give members something to protect, and give you a retention lever that runs itself. Everything is opt-in. Nothing appears for your members until you switch it on.
1 · Community leaderboard
Ranked check-ins by week, month and year, split automatically by membership type so adults and juniors are ranked separately. Each row shows rank, photo, current streak and check-in count, with the member's own row highlighted. Members see a first name and last initial only, and can hide themselves with one switch while keeping their own stats.
Switch it on: Settings → Community → Community tab. That single switch reveals the tab for your whole gym.
2 · Challenges
Five ready-made formats. Weekly Consistency rewards a regular habit (Bronze 2×/week, Silver 3, Gold 4, qualifying in 3 of 4 weeks). Attendance Race is a simple total (8 / 12 / 16 over four weeks) and the best first challenge. Class Explorer pushes members out of the one class they always attend. Whole-Gym Goal is one shared target with a progress bar everyone watches fill. Bring a Friend counts only when an invited guest actually turns up.
Create one: Settings → Community → New challenge. Pick a template, set a start date and a length in weeks, adjust the tiers. Targets and dates lock once it starts; archiving keeps every badge already earned.
3 · Streaks and automatic rewards
A streak is the number of consecutive weeks with at least one check-in, so a once-a-week member can hold one. From Thursday, an uncovered week escalates: “Check in this week to keep your 11-week streak.” Milestone badges at 10, 25, 50, 100, 250 and 500 check-ins (editable). Membership anniversaries. Belt promotion badges (stripe-only changes are ignored). Beat Last Month shows this month's check-ins against last month's.
Comeback challenges, off by default, compare each member's last 14 days against their own 60-day baseline. When the drop crosses the threshold you set, they quietly receive a short personal goal labelled “Just for you”, visible to nobody else.
Switch it on: Settings → Community → Automatic rewards. Streaks, milestones, anniversaries, belt badges and Beat Last Month are on by default; comebacks are a separate switch with a sensitivity setting (70% recommended).
4 · Badges
Every award becomes a badge on the member's home and profile screens, with the month it was earned. Badges are permanent: archiving a challenge or breaking a streak doesn't remove what was already earned. Also new: a training log where members browse attendance by month or across 3, 6 and 12 months, with the class name against every session.
Switch it on: Badges come with the Community tab and follow the automatic rewards switches.
5 · Guest passes
A member taps Guest pass, enters a friend's name and email, and the friend gets an email with its own QR code that checks them in at your door. The member sees every pass they've sent and its status: Active, Visited, Used, Expired, Cancelled.
Switch it on: Settings → Guest passes. Set how many passes a member gets and how long each lasts. Pair it with a Bring a Friend challenge.
6 · Check in from the phone
Print your gym's check-in QR code and put it by the door; members scan it and they're in. Or keep a scanner at the desk and scan the code on each member's profile. Both produce the same attendance record. Every other feature in this release depends on check-in data being complete.
Switch it on: Settings → Gym → Member self check-in, then print the QR code.
7 · Waivers signed in the app
If a member has unsigned mandatory documents, check-in stops. The document is shown in full, the member signs with a finger, and the check-in completes. Several outstanding documents are presented one at a time.
Switch it on: Upload documents in Settings → Waivers and documents and mark the mandatory ones. No further action needed.
8 · Class booking and waitlists
The Schedule tab shows live capacity and a Book button. When a class is full, booking joins the waitlist and tells the member their exact position. Bookings feed the training log, which separates classes attended from classes booked and missed.
Switch it on: Settings → Gym → Class booking, and Waitlist alongside it.
Your first 30 minutes
Turn on the Community tab. Check the milestone thresholds suit your gym. Enable self check-in and print the QR code. A week later, run an Attendance Race. Then add a Whole-Gym Goal. Leave comeback challenges until you have a month of data. Enable guest passes, then Bring a Friend, in that order.
