As of late August 2026 it publishes a Starter tier from $79 a month per location; Accelerate and Ultimate remain quote-only. In our crawl it held 10.3% of identifiable installs among martial arts gyms, a real presence for a generalist platform.
The total is the mystery. Beyond Starter, pricing is a sales conversation, and Mindbody's own FAQ says your cost depends on plan, locations, add-ons, processing and transaction-related fees. Belts, gradings and rank ladders are nowhere in the pitch, because dojos are not who it is for. Mat Track is the opposite trade: everything priced on the page, no platform transaction fees, and the martial arts layer, ranks, mat time, gradings, as the core of the product rather than an absent feature.

Our August 2026 crawl of 5,191 martial arts gym websites found Mindbody on 10.3% of the 1,146 sites with identifiable booking software, fifth overall. That footprint skews towards bigger operations: gyms attached to leisure brands, multi-programme facilities, and academies that adopted it for its marketplace reach. Plenty of them are happy; the ones who search for alternatives usually name the same two reasons, opaque total cost and a product that does not speak martial arts.
Share of the 1,146 sites with identifiable booking software, not of all gyms. The crawler reads public website signals only, so platforms that leave no public footprint on a gym's own site are not measured.

Mindbody's own FAQ explains that your total depends on plan, locations, add-ons, processing and transaction-related fees, which is why only Starter carries a public number.
